#ReviewNotReview Watched: Wolf-Gang! The Order (Season 1&2, 2019)

     Hello again! 

    I just finished The Order season 1-2. I started watching it because I just appeared on my home Netflix, then it turned out to be good! The genres are fiction, horror, drama, supernatural. In short, The Order tells about a secret society of people who have magic in an elite campus 'Belgrave'. The name of the association is Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose (or simply The Order), which can only enter the chosen people who get the blue rose.

    Starting with the introduction of Jack, the child whose mother has died and really wants to enter Belgrave and is accepted as a candidate to become a member of The Order. It turns out that apart from The Order there is another secret society, namely The Knights of Saint Christoper, a group (there are only 3 members) Werewolves (one of my most favorite of supernatural being) there is Hamish - kind of the leader, Randall the not so serious one, and Lilith the Killith-you'll know why. The last member to join Jack is the kind of lost one. In my opinion, Werewolves in this series are quite unique and different from the usual stories, where they don't have a pack, and each has a 'type' or in this series called Hide. 

    Hamish has Tundra, Randall has Graybeard, Jack has Silverback, and Lilith has Timber, the unique thing is 2 from the name of the wolf, they are really the type of real wolf. The chemistry of these 4 children is really fun, watching it is such fun. The characters complement each other, in my opinion, these 4 characters' growth made you fall in love with them. Oh, there was one more person joining, Gabrielle, she has Midnight as her wolf.

    Jack, the main character at the beginning he's like an unstable (but smart) boy, then slowly grows up and can think well and make decisions wisely, even though there are still some annoying shenanigans, after all, he's a freshman in college, right? Randall is a typical friend that will make jokes, sometimes dirty and rude but still exciting, deep down Randall is a softie, Hamish is the oldest and automatically acts as a leader but sometimes his childish side comes out too, together with Randall. Lilith the fierce one always wants to use violence😂, but deep down this girl is softie too.

   Another character that I think the development is good is Gabrielle, at first, this girl is your typical privileged girl, selfish and entitled, but over time she becomes a better person, even though she still nags - it feels like you want to tape her mouth just to shut her up. She can't express her emotion well, but she means well - most of the time. There is Vera too, the chairman or Grand Magus of The Order, according to me at first people will mistake Vera for it, but in the end, you will realize that she's one of the good ones. 

    The character that I think is the most annoying is Alyssa, missus she-thinks-she-knows-it-all, Jack's love interests which BTW I think their relationship is toxic. In the beginning, Alyssa's character might seem WOW, a smart girl who is mature and also diligent, the perfect protagonist. But God, you want to kill her. Her motto was "I don't know what I am without my magic." ugh it's super annoying. If you don't know who you are without it that means you don't deserve it. IMO, the magic was supposed to help you grow, not define who you are. The character that I think is suitable to be a villain is Alyssa :), the girl is such a pain in the ass - Thank God she died. Hopefully, she will still die if there is another season (please!!).

    The thing that makes me love this series is that it's fun and exciting, the humor is so relatable, it's light but meaningful, you know typical college lyf kind of thing. I'm happy watching this series. Unfortunately, season 3 doesn't yet have a green light from Netflix, hopefully, there will be!!
